A decorative floral garland rendered in deep scarlet was applied to this ceiling to accent a beautiful ceiling fan. It was designed to coordinate with the fireplace mantel vignette above.

Pressed copper ceiling plaster technique

This is a faux pressed copper ceiling. It was made using a raised plaster stencil technique to simulate the texture of a pressed metal ceiling. Then a coating of premium copper paint was applied to give it the look of copper metal.

Mail Pouch Barn Ad Reproduction

This custom project is a reproduction of the famous Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn Ads of which there are several still in existence in our area. This project gives the nostalgic look of the Mail Pouch Tobacco ad to a modern two story garage with a corrugated metal exterior. Because this reproduction ad was painted on a red background (red and black were the two backgrounds used in the original ad) I was able to use the traditional "drop shadow" on the words "Mail Pouch Tobacco" which gives them a three-dimensional effect.

Cheery Breakfast Nook

This kitchen had a dull off white wall color before. Now it's spruced up and cheery in this light yellow.

Even spaces you don't think about very often can use some repair work and a fresh coat of paint. Sometimes the transformation is pretty dramatic (see below).

Here is the same stairwell after the repair work and the base coat were finished. Now there is no sign of the old damaged wood and it looks brand new.

Mural - Fireplace Decoration

This mural of a fishing net is painted on a fireplace surround. It consists of the fishing net (yes, that is painted on and not a real fishing net as many have asked me) along with bright yellow and white floats and colorful and exotic sea life entwined within it.
